Workflow - Notifications

Notifications are a fantastic way to let people know what is going on!

Firstly, click on the step and beneath the properties click on notifications, then plus


Firstly add a description for the purpose of the notification and when the notification should be sent.

Then specify who you wish to send the notification to.

You create a subject header for the notification and should enter any key points here. You should utilise bookmarks to create a detailed subject.

You will notice that you have formatting options such as bold, italic, alignment and also heading options.

In the body you want to be detailed and informative as possible, one of the best ways to do so is using bookmarks.

You should also choose whether to send an email with the notification. Be wary of turning people into email zombies though!
